After quite some time, finally went for a trip with my fam <3
Mum booked for 2 nights in Mercure Penang Beach Hotel(which used to be Four Points by Sheraton Penang)
because their king bed are quite big compared to other hotels in penang haha.
It's not only us in this trip but 3 aunts and their family.
(kind of put on too high expectation on how exciting it will be T-T)

| Mcd Breakfast time's new menu - Scrambled egg sausage with egg burger <3 It was ok as the combination of scrambled egg & cheese made everything tastes weird |
Drove for 2 hours until Tapah rest station then it's time for dad's turn
Dad told me I was driving too fast, meanwhile he drove 160-160 km/h........fml

We stopped by Bukit Mertajam after 2 hours to have our lunch at a restaurant that is quite famous with their Yam Rice.
But we waited for like an hour and the food came out to be not as good as expected (just so-so)
It's not worth the wait, I'm not sure about the price but the portion is quite small...
Not sure is it their tactic to make their customer order more quantity XDDD

Love it here if wanna chill after a meal. But there's not much choices of restaurants, bars and cafe outside.
There were plenty of bars outside last year when we came but it was all closed down now :(

Watched a few movies then went to bed at 2 am
Love watching Fox Movies as it brings back quite a lot of memories while I was struggling hard to run on treadmill while in gym(can't even run for 5 minutes),
then I found out a way: switch to Fox Movies channel.
So I will be distracted from being tired easily and successfully ran for 20 minutes XDD

We discussed about where to go as it was still early & I realized there were many museum nearby which we can go by foot.
But nope, aunts said it's expensive........ok
In the end, we went to a shopping mall nearby, which is the best place for this sunny time

Cos there's still plenty of time for the whole day,
so we went to Avatar Secret Garden which is located here
(such coincidence, my senior was here last night & I saw her Instagram story while we were thinking where to go)
Feeling very regretful for not coming here during night as it looks quite nice from the reviews online
We then went to Tesco nearby Straits Quay and that we always pass by,
to top up our snacks and alcohols :D
Time for Kek Lok Si Temple
But first we need to have our dinner nearby Air Itam
Before sending our aunt(dad's sister who live in Penang) back to her home,
went to a food court for some food
Other than this, the other stall's food doesn't look nice.......
We then reached hotel around 11.30pm.
And then back to my routine, cup noodle(this time is chicken soup) & Fox Movies
with Guinness Stout beer as complement
Had an 45 minutes call with my bf for some random talks
Slept at 3 am after watching another season of Mission Impossible (Rogue Nation)
Rushed to check out & didn't even have time to fully blow dry my hair (hate to rush)
Mum told us 12.30pm, but in fact she didn't say it properly but instead it's actually 12pm,
but if you want to extend till 12.30pm, u can call reception at 12pm.......
(hate it. ruined my day, got lectured for being bad tempered & slow... WOW NICE.OK.)
At least I got to bath & had my breakfast(Maggie Kari Kick hot cup)... at least :))))
Met up with aunt(dad's sis) at a restaurant opposite of Gurney Drive - Song River
Had our lunch before leaving Penang(T-T)
It's always crowded here since the time it's open (7am) so we always make a booking
It'll be open until only 3pm
All of the dishes are very special but the price too.... :D
but it's worth it as we have almost 20 person
We then went to the last place before leaving Penang - local food shop
Waze brought us to go for second Penang bridge - Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah Bridge
(unlike every year, we go back with ferry)
Before taking a nap it was 2.5 hours to reach home, after an hour of nap,
it was still 2.5 hours to reach...
wow probably everyone were rushing to go back before Sunday to avoid traffic jam
